Activities Days Terms and Conditions

 

1.        Attendance is required on both Activities Days.

2.        As there is a choice of activities, parents and pupils are expected to fund the costs of those activities that involve any fee.

3.        If an activity is paid for and a pupil subsequently fails to attend, a refund will only be given if another pupil can be found to take his or her place.

4.        Where spaces for activities are limited, places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. In this event, pupils may be entered into their second or third choices. If all three choices are full, alternative activities will be offered.

5.        Some activities have a minimum number of participants before they become either financially or practically viable. If the minimum number is not reached, pupils may be entered into their second or third choices. If all choices are full, alternative activities will be offered.

6.        Some activities extend beyond the normal school day. Parents/Carers are responsible for ensuring their child is brought to school and collected at the specified time.

7.        Information in this brochure is accurate at the time of going to print. However, details may change. Parents will be informed of any changes where necessary.

8.        The school reserves the right to exclude pupils from any activity, where seen to be necessary.

9.        Incorrectly completed forms will be returned.

10.      All forms must be signed by a parent/carer.

11.      Most out-of-school activities require pupils to bring a packed lunch. Pupils who qualify for free school meals, who are attending these out-of-school activities will be provided with a packed lunch. The dining hall will be open as normal for those attending in-school activities.

12.      Normal school rules and expected standards of behaviour apply to all activities, whether on the school site or not. Unacceptable behaviour may result in the pupil being barred from any subsequent activities. Refunds will not be available under these circumstances. 

13.      Full school uniform must be worn for all activities, unless otherwise stated, (see ‘You Need' section for each activity in the brochure).

14.      The deadline for the return of correctly completed choice forms is Friday 10th March. Anyone wishing to make a change after this deadline will be charged a £2 administration fee (if the change is possible). NO CHANGES ARE POSSIBLE AFTER FRIDAY 5TH MAY.

15.      Details of payments required will be issued in the week beginning 8th May. Any pupils who have not paid for their allocation by 25th June will be unable to participate in Activities Days.
